Pilates Mat is your foundation. It focuses on core stability, spinal alignment and precise, controlled movement using your own body weight. It's ideal if you're new to Pilates, working on posture or injury prevention, or looking for a class that feels supportive while still offering a challenge.
Pilates Mat also includes more traditional Pilates abdominal work such as roll ups and teaser variations, making it better suited as a progression from our specialised Postnatal Pilates classes for new mums returning to general movement.
Pilates Sculpt builds on those foundations with light to moderate weights and resistance tools. Rather than focusing on high pressure abdominal exercises, Sculpt challenges the body through strength, stability and controlled resistance, making it a postnatally safe option while still delivering a strong full body workout.
Both classes are suitable for all levels, with options to progress exercises based on your strength, experience and stage of movement.
