The Confident Parent
Navigate the early weeks with baby feeling more supported, informed and prepared for the realities of new parenthood.
What this workshop is about
The early weeks with a new baby can feel beautiful, overwhelming, emotional and completely life changing, often all at once.
This workshop is designed to help you feel more prepared for what happens after birth, not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and practically too.
Most newborn education focuses almost entirely on the baby. This workshop also focuses on you.
Together we'll explore recovery, feeding, sleep, relationships, identity shifts and the realities of caring for a newborn, with honest conversations and practical strategies that actually support families in real life.
We talk openly about the parts of postpartum many couples aren't prepared for, the emotional load, changing roles, overstimulation, exhaustion and the pressure to "bounce back."
Rather than leaving your partner unsure how to help, this workshop gives both of you practical tools to work together as a team through the fourth trimester.
This is not a workshop built around perfect routines or unrealistic advice. It's grounded, supportive and focused on helping both parents feel calmer, more connected and better prepared for life after birth.
What you'll explore together
We focus on real life, not generic advice. Together you'll cover:
- •what recovery actually looks like after birth
- •what newborns truly need in the early weeks
- •realistic expectations around feeding and sleep
- •how roles and relationships change
- •emotional wellbeing for both parents
- •practical ways partners can support recovery
- •communication during stress and exhaustion
- •protecting rest and reducing overwhelm
We also talk openly about the things most people don't — identity shifts, feeling touched out, the mental load and how to navigate it together.
Is this workshop right for you?
This workshop is for you if:
- •you want realistic preparation for life after birth
- •you're feeling nervous about the newborn stage
- •you want to feel more connected as a team
- •you want your partner to feel involved and prepared
- •you want support for both parents, not just the baby
Whether you're first time parents or adding another baby to your family, this workshop meets you where you are.

What our members say
Tatiana ran a 4th Trimester Postpartum Course which got me thinking about what to expect after the baby arrives, which I hadn't thought about at all. It was super helpful and I have managed to incorporate what I learnt into my 4th trimester.
“My husband and I attended her birth class which was so beneficial — not only learning about labour and creating birth preferences but importantly thinking about what the first 6 weeks will look like postpartum. I would highly recommend Evolvere to any mums or mums to be!”
“Tatiana has been a wonderful support through my pregnancy and birth, her teachings and knowledge about birth and postnatal recovery has given me the confidence to get moving, accept and enjoy the process.”
Common questions
The workshop runs for 3.5 hours and includes thoughtfully designed take-home homework activities to continue the conversations beyond the workshop itself. The homework focuses on preparing emotionally and practically for the fourth trimester — helping couples reflect on support, communication, expectations and the transition into parenthood. It's not complicated or overwhelming — it's designed to help you feel more connected, informed and prepared.
We recommend attending shortly after completing The Confident Birth Partner workshop, usually between 32–37 weeks pregnant. After around 37 weeks, we encourage parents to begin slowing down, resting, enjoying maternity leave and allowing space to simply prepare emotionally for the arrival of their baby.
Yes. This workshop is designed specifically for couples and birth partners — we strongly believe early parenthood is a team experience. However, if a partner is unavailable, we still highly encourage having a support person attend with you. This may be a friend, family member, mother or another chosen support person.
No, the workshop fee is $300 per couple. This includes both attendees, the full 3.5-hour workshop experience, educational materials and the take-home homework activities.
Not at all. Many families attend before their second or third baby. Each transition into parenthood is different and the preparation is just as valuable.
